It is a true privilege to be National’s MP based in Manukau East.

I take this role seriously and am working hard both in our community and in Wellington to ensure that we can build a brighter future together.

Being a MP comes with a wide-range of roles, responsibilities and opportunities.  I particularly enjoy meeting with people in the community to hear their concerns, and provide support.

As New Zealand’s third biggest city, and the fastest growing urban area, Manukau East is a vibrant electorate with many different ethnicities and is strengthened by its diversity and rich culture.
With its close vicinity to major transport centres like Auckland International Airport, the gateway to New Zealand and key industrial areas, Manukau provides the ultimate location for businesses looking for opportunities to expand and succeed.

The people of Manukau East are hard-working, positive, and capable which is displayed in the success of the area.  The Manukau area accounts for 30 per cent of New Zealand’s economic production and growing population.
